We went and saw "Nim's Island" yesterday as a family. It was just alright. It was slow in parts and almost anti-climatic. But it was totally clean, and did have some funny parts. Jodie Foster played a lady with a phobia for leaving the house, so she had some funny parts. Nim herself has a pelican, a seal and a lizard as pets and they had some cute parts. My kids did like it, it was just a little slow. But is is nice they have some clean, family movies out without all in innuendos. The only really "scary" part were some flying lizards and that was more funny than anything-and they were on the "good" team. B- ?So if your child wants to rent it, don't fear, it's a cute one. But it might drag a little for you, and it won't hold a real little ones attention.
