Spaceballs

I borrowed the movie, "Spaceballs" from the library. I hadn't seen it in years. My kids love Star Wars and know the older movies by heart. So I knew they would "get it." And they did. I didn't sit down and watch it with them though. There was a lot of swearing in it, which I of course didn't remember. They only saw it one time.

After he saw it Jared kept running around the house saying, "Fire away Athos!" I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. Incidentally our cat is named Athos (after one of The Three Musketeers), so this just added to my confusion. I finally asked him what he was talking about and where he got that from. He said, it's what everybody said in "Spaceballs" and they said it all the time. Finally I realized what he was really saying! My first child to swear! It was pretty funny. When I told Jared what he was really saying he was horrified!
