Today for Alex's birthday he and I were able to take a special tour of the temple for the temple workers and their spouses. The temple isn't all the way finished yet, but most of it was. It was so beautiful. It was actually more breathtaking and beautiful than I thought that it would be. The baptistry was huge! It was so open. There were carvings of syringa flowers (the Idaho state flower) all through the temple from the ceiling to the carpet. I guess the wood came from Africa, the tile from India and I think I heard the granite came from Europe. ( That one I don't know for sure). They also said that our sealing room in the TF temple was the biggest so far in the world, and the mirrors inside of the room were the largest also.
I am so grateful to live on the earth when there are temples. I'm excited that we have a temple that will only be 45 minutes a way. I am so grateful for my temple marriage to Alex and that our kids are sealed to us also. It's so comforting to know that Alex and my marriage is not until death do us part, but it is forever! Which I'm so grateful for because I love Alex and my kids so much!
