Okay, so I haven't really had the blogging blues I just don't post on this blog as much as my other blog. I feel like I'm repeating myself. So I suppose if you really want to know what's going on in our lives ALL the time you'll have to look at both blogs. The other isn't always interesting though...
Anyway I'm taking my sister-in-law Rebecca's lead, here are some random things we've been up to:
*Alex is building a playhouse outside. I'm not really sure why he's doing it as it's gigantic and the kids have sort of outgrown that kind of stuff. But I guess he's in a building mood. He's taken a speech class from the local college. It doesn't really like it though.
*I read Les Miserables in two days-the unabridged version. I've been eating tomato sandwiches all week. I love "real" tomatoes.
*Olivia has gotten into an American Girls kick again and has pulled them all out to read again. Which she can in lightening speed. She's been bored because she hasn't had school the last two days. Imagine that?
*Jared is in a Scout mode lately and has finished all his scouting requirements for his first year and his Faith in God requirements. Jared continues to enjoy tormenting his younger brothers just for fun. His hamster that hisses only got out of his cage once this week.
*Luke is in a I want to grow up and be an author kick this week. He fluctuates between that and a Jedi. You can see his latest story on the other blog.
*Caleb loves Grandma's pears and eats them like candy. Thanks grandma!
*The kids had two days off for fall vacation but we didn't do much besides have horse riding lessons. It was nice to not do anything. We slept in until a whopping 8 o'clock this morning.
*I love Good Reads, have I mentioned that? Probably 100 times. Actually everyone in our family does.

Sounds like lots of good fun at your house. I think it's times like these when you are just doing normal, happy things that you remember as times go by. The times when things were good and you were just having fun and things felt safe and secure. Good job to you for creating those memories for your kids.
the last thing I need is alex taking a speech lesson ... maybe he should join the debate team ... then again, you'd have to have mostly logical arguements, and I don't think he's that kind of person. Aw, mean, right? And I'm not sorry. Ü Love
Hi! I just wanted to say hi and thank you for saying hi on my blog a while back. I've been busy and haven't gotten a chance to visit your blog until now . . . but it's been fun getting to know you all a little bit. :) And hopefully one day we can meet! :) I'm excited to be a part of the family . . . thanks for your warm welcome! :)
