The day started (or ended) at 1 AM this morning with us shredding the last of our roast for the big lunch our county hosted today for the Republican Party. We eventually got to bed, but Alex was off early for part 1 of the day. We had to be at the county seat early so Olivia could practice her solo...
Olivia was invited to sing for at our county's Republican Parties "Lincoln Days." She did great and received a standing ovation! She sang, "God Bless the USA." The Governor, Senator, Congressman, and Lt. Governor were all there. The First Lady presented Olivia with a signed copy of the book she wrote about Idaho History. The book was suppose to be auctioned off, but The First Lady took it off the auction table to give to Olivia because she was impressed with her! Yeah!
We hurried home after we took care of helping cleaning up. Then we spent an hour at home packing frantically with minimum brain cells because we were so tired. They we were off again for another county's Lincoln Days. On the way home we stopped in to see the home team win the District Championship in Boy's Basketball. Go Tigers!
Now we are home finishing our packing and hoping we don't forget anything. It was a great, busy day. We are so proud of Olivia!
