Friday the painting in our house was finished...for now. The carpet people will be coming to make an estimate on Thursday. We have new Internet now and we have a zooming fast connection. Wow! We've been playing with our cousins a lot this week. While the kids played Alex and I put our house back together. We even have all the pictures hung. When we were all done we all watched the new movie "The City of Ember." We all really liked it. It was scary in some parts FYI. Our kids did fine, but no language and innuendos in it so it scores for us.
Here's some pictures from their slumber party last night. (and you can see the paint) Halfway through the evening we found Caleb under our bed with the comforter pulled down over him. The kids played lots of war games. Olivia was in the mix as much as any of the boys. In one of the pictures there is a picture of our trashed play room. It's amazing what fast work 8 children can make on a clean playroom.

Love the paint! Funny how we are going through the same thing at the same time with the painting...I WISH I was getting carpet. After my tax return comes, I *might get some cheap "fake wood" flooring instead of carpet....
