Lost Pants

Last Sunday when the boys were putting on their Sunday clothes Luke came to me and told me his suit pants were missing. The church clothes are always in the same place so usually there's no Sunday scramble. We looked everywhere and we could not find them. Finally I made him squeeze into Caleb's pants and had Caleb wear a pair of pants a little on the small size.

I looked all week for them. They just vanished! Luke has a tendency to fling things when he's undressing. So I've looked high and low. Luke's personality is that he probably hid them so he didn't have to put them away, but he can't remember where to. I've looked in toy bins, in every closet, in between his mattresses, in his bed sheets, under dressers, behind dressers, under every one's beds........ Needless to say we still haven't found them and the boys had to squeeze into small pants again. We have found all sorts of lost things though. (of Luke's)

This Sunday I asked Luke what he had fasted for. He informed me that he had fasted to be able to find his church pants. I thought that was a good idea. Hopefully his fast is realized by next Sunday!

(On a side note a friend let me know of a conversation she had had with Luke last fast Sunday. He asked her what she was fasting for and then he said, "I'm fasting to over come my weaknesses." I don't know where he comes up with these things.)
