Luke has a little bout with constipation every now and then. When he gets clogged up occasionally he screams for a couple of hours until he does his business. It only happens a couple of times a year. He tends to be a drama king about the whole thing. He doesn't take pain well. We are working on being a little tougher.
Today he had a little episode for the first time in quite a while. He was definitely in pain and doubled over. He yelled out that he needed his pencil and paper. He usually keeps pen and paper close in case flashes of light come to him for his stories. I was reading to the kids at the time. Later I looked down to see what he had written. (He was lying down on my lap). This is what it said:
I don't fell good.
I don't feel good!
Don't feel bad for me.
If you eat a big piece of cheese you will regret it!
You will get sick.
Huh? I asked him about it and he said he'd had a big piece of cheese a couple of days ago. He said he didn't chew it up very well and so that was why he was plugged up. Okay...

OH GOODNESS!!!!
Maybe cheese really is the issue...you never know. Too bad he has this happen. My friend told me to use slippery elm tea for one of my kids and really does work!
Poor little guy. Hope his "plumbing issues" are cleared up and that he is feeling better soon!
