Christmas Eve

We had a fun Christmas Eve night and all my family were there. Christmas Eve is more of a favorite for me than Christmas Day. This year we hosted our Christmas Eve dinner (we always have our dinner on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day so we can enjoy Christmas Day and not be worried about a turkey dinner). For our program this year we had a little talent show and then my mom shared some family history things. We usually do some family history on Christmas Eve-thanks to my mom.

We then opened up our presents from our cousins exchange. After everyone left we made our Christmas piles and opened up our pj's and our immediate family gift exchange.

Due to visiting with family-my mom and dad live next door and 2 brothers and 2 sisters with their families were there- we were up late (2 AM) visiting between houses and "assembling." For a while the electricity went off around 11 or 12 P.M. It was really fun to cut, tie, and wrap a blanket in the dark. Alex put together a hope chest in the dark too. Ahh, the memories.

During the gift exchange.

Megan (violin) and Emily (piano) provided an amazing musical number. They are awesome!
Bryson and Carter singing.

Olivia played the violin.
Luke played a piano piece John Schmidt style.
Visiting.
