Alex was listening to a book on tape in the suburban and all the kids were listening. It was a book by Obama. Luke said, "Dad, what he says his true, but how will he really do it?"
"Please bless me that I won't be homesick." (right before we left for girls camp)
A leader (Laurie) said, "Oh, my heck!" Luke said, "Please don't swear. My parents have taught me that we should only use good words."
A leader (Laurie) said to Luke, "What kind of a mom doesn't let their kids eat fish?" He said, "The kind of mom that doesn't like fish!" (I do let them eat, we just never have it btw).
While we were driving up to our campsite off roading a suburban started honking at us to pull over because they had to get by us (they were 5Bers for those of you that will explain a lot). Luke said when they started honking, "What is their problem!?"
Luke was told he was filthy (he was) and he said, "Well, that's the fun of camping!"
Luke was telling some people that when he was at the ocean a wave came and "knocked him unconscious" and while he was playing on the playground at Dierke's Lake he was also "knocked unconscious." He wasn't just so you know.
While we were at camp Jared asked, "Why are those girls (the Young Women) always screaming?"
